How to order custom shirts without surprises
Most problems with custom shirts come from three things: sizes, art files and timing.
1. Lock the size breakdown
Count before you order. A spreadsheet of names and sizes saves reprints.
2. Send the best art you have
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) are best. A high-resolution PNG works for most jobs. A phone photo of a sketch is fine to start a quote.
3. Pick the right method
Heat-transfer vinyl is crisp for one or two solid colors and short runs. DTF transfers handle full color and gradients. Screen printing usually wins on price for big runs of one design.
4. Give yourself buffer
Put the real date you need them, not the event date, so there is time to approve a proof.
